A tree – a source of life, nutrition, a source of warmth, power. An artifact. A tree as an irreplaceable phenomenon in a person’s life. That is why we are trees. Let’s appreciate them! Let’s help protect them. They do help us.
A multi-genre display of works by Pilsen artists from the social circle of Dana Raunerová reflects the important notion of tree protection and their irreplaceability in our lives through art. This tree and nature-themed display will present photos, watercolour paintings, sculptures and graphics created by enthusiastic artists among whom are Dana Raunerová, Pavla Weinberger, Rostislav Weinberger, Luboš Opalecký, Petr Šťastný, Tereza Šimková and Lukáš Kudrna.
We are proud to be able to host this unique project in our Brewery Museum in Pilsen where mainly beer brewing craft traditions are explained. We are close to trees. Actually, there would be no beer without trees – beer barrels are made of oak wood and, if treated well, they are indestructible. The company Plzeňský Prazdroj has for a long time focused on ecological projects and space modifications not only in its breweries, but also across the whole country.
In accordance with an order from the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, tours and experience programme are closed to public until further notice. Sorry for inconvenience.
