“The Poetry of technology” – an exhibition by Milan Bauer

The Brewery Museum in Pilsen invites you to an exhibition presented by Milan Bauer, graphic artist, with the leitmotif being old technology.

Bauer’s poetic view of technicalinventions of the past offers visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the illusion of times past, when steam was a new life medium, petrol was the catalyst of fresh inventions and even a normal velocipede could have wings. Several graphic art sets were thus created, inspired by the yet undiscovered inventor Ferdinand Gramatika, such as Pozůstalost F. G. (Heritage of F.G.), and Anatomia Gramatika. In these works of art we can discover new prototypes of motorcycles, locomotives, automobiles, as well as mechanical skeletons and various biomechanoids.

Milan Bauer has recently been creating his graphic art sheets using mainly the classic line etching technique. Lovers of art have had a chance to see them both here and abroad. His works can be found in numerous collections worldwide.
